Here, you can begin to find them.
I work with adults who carry more than what is visible — those who function and meet their responsibilities, yet feel that something is missing: anxiety that lingers, a sadness that's hard to name, and patterns in relationships they feel unable to break.
I also work with people returning from abroad who feel like strangers in their own homes, as well as internationals living in Belgrade who are looking for someone who understands them, without needing to explain their context each time.
I offer psychotherapy in Serbian and English, in person in Belgrade and online. Adults of all backgrounds, religions, sexual orientations, and gender identities are welcome.
About me
My name is Nada Simić. I'm a psychotherapist trained in psychology and human rights (City University of New York), clinical social work (Fordham University), and psychoanalytic psychotherapy at the William Alanson White Institute in New York.
My professional focus is on helping adults facing challenging periods in their lives, including those whose struggles may not be visible from the outside but can be deeply exhausting.
My clients often seek help with anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, and relationship patterns that feel difficult to change. Some are looking for relief, others want clarity, or simply a deeper understanding of themselves.
My approach is warm, direct, and tailored to you. I work psychodynamically — which means I'm interested not only in what you're feeling now, but in where it comes from. Together, we look beneath the surface. Not to live in the past forever, but to understand it in a way that allows something to shift.
